Community Outreach and Education

Service Description

Educating and bringing awareness to our community about what Substance Use Disorder is and how to manage this chronic disease is the first step in fighting stigma. Stigma is a huge barrier that prevents so many from reaching out for help. By arming our community with knowledge and providing resources, we can fight the impact that SUD has. The Savannah River ROC host a variety of public events every month to ensure that this education and resources are easily accessible to the community we serve.
